What we collect
Contact details. Name, phone number, email address, and the address the visit is to take place at, including Eircode.
Health data. Medical history, current medications, allergies, dental history, clinical notes, digital X-rays and intraoral scans. This is special-category data under Article 9 GDPR and is treated accordingly.
Eligibility data. Medical card number and PRSI details, where you ask us to check or claim on your behalf.
Care-setting data. Where the patient is a resident of a nursing or residential home, the name of the facility and the details of the next of kin or legal representative who gave consent.
Website data. Anything you type into our booking or contact form, or into Clara, our online chat receptionist; and, only if you agree to it through the cookie banner, aggregate analytics about which pages are read.

- Specialists and hospitals, where a referral is clinically necessary — with your knowledge.
- The nursing or residential home, where the patient is a resident and the home is coordinating care.
- Our processors, who handle data on our instructions under written contracts: our practice management system, our email provider, our website host, Fiacail.ie (which operates Clara and delivers form enquiries to our team), and Google Analytics (only where you have consented to analytics cookies).
Where a processor is outside the European Economic Area, transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to restrict or object to how we use it, and ask for it to be deleted where no legal obligation requires us to keep it. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Write to hello@dentistry2u.ie and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28 — dataprotection.ie.
Security
